Wednesday in Kindergarten!

Following morning assembly and morning jobs, our day's leader led us through the calendar routines! Well done, Kole!

We choose our own way to show 7 fingers for the number of days in the week!

MATH: We started to learn about subtraction today!

LANGUAGE ARTS: Our story was called "The Little Engine That Could" (yes - it's still around!) We reviewed the sound of "ay" and made talking jays!

Free choice time!

Scooter board fun at Gym time!

The day ended with Mme. V. and French.

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
