It's Friday!!

Our day began as usual, with O' Canada and warm up exercises in the gym. Our leader did a good job with "warming" us up in the gym and calendar! 

We practiced speeches today. We have one more week to really learn them well!

                        

Ms. A. had a word bingo game prepared using short and long vowel words such as "back" and "bake" so the children could practice recognizing the "policeman e!" Great fun (and learning) had by all!

We worked on footwork skills in Gym today and had to stop a bit early for January's Birthday Circle!

The day ended with French. The children are learning the names of the planets in French and today they stood in order and orbited the sun! We will do the same thing in English soon, as we continue with our current UOI! (Soaring Through Space)

Below are some pictures from yesterday when the children were asked to draw a picture of what they THOUGHT the sun, moon, Earth and a star might look like and where they might be in relationship to each other! Everyone worked very hard at this task!
