Going Batty on Monday!!

Our day began with the November Assembly. Students with perfect attendance for the month of October were recognized. Each teacher announced the Principal's Choice for their classroom based on demonstrations of knowledge and independence. Mdme. Villeneuve presented an activity to help us to identify the Attribute of being a Thinker and the Attitude of Confidence - the skills we will work on in November. Mr. Hunt led us in a House Game called "Ha!"

We returned to the classroom in time for Show and Share with Grace and Aiden. Following snack and recess, we had calendar time with Grace, I introduced our new Word Ring words (the students won again!) and we did some work with the colour word "purple." 

The afternoon began with a story called Five Little Bats Flying In The Night, which was a brief introduction to our new UOI, and some Free Choice activities. One hour of French concluded the day. Don't forget to check out Mdme's blog occasionally on the school website!
