Only one more sleep until Hallowe'en!

In a "nutshell, we had a great day! The children are so-o-o-excited about Hallowe'en! Here are just a few of the things we did today. We got so busy I forgot to take pictures for several events!

The month of October is over! We know that the word OCTOBER has 2 'O's" in it and each make a sound that the vowel "o" can make!

Today our class consisted of 4 Princesses and 5 Super heroes,
assisted by one friendly witch!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
