A "Thankful" Thursday
(I am very thankful for a great class and supportive parents!)
We had a great start to the day. Shylah was our leader and we recognized today as the 40th school day! Ms. Nixon has been working with the children at calendar time for the past 2 days and is appreciating all of the skills that can be tied into calendar work. At MATH TIME we did a major class sort! The kids thought it was great and we heard a lot of "Math Vocabulary" about sorting! Ms. Nixon read the story called Little Bat and we learned the sound of "M-m-m" (Sound Pail for this sound will be next Tuesday) We read our mini books called Bats together and we will complete it next week. In our UOI time today we learned more bat facts and made bats, using our hand prints for the wings, to decorate the classroom door.
Have a wonderful weekend!
