What a beautiful Fall Day!

We decorated the classroom for Hallowe'en today! The children wrote their own names on Pumpkins for the door! They made black cats for a home decoration! I read them a story called Little Boo. I want to quote the author from his inside cover: " To all the Little Boos who want to be big - be patient, keep trying, and one day you will be more than you can imagine."  Nice, I thought!
At Math time the children rolled dice and counted the dots. SK's coloured specific colours for specific numbers. JK's were told to colour any part of their monster once they rolled that number.
We played musical pumpkins at Gym time and learned a new Hallowe'en song (new to me, too!). One of the Centres today was playdough with Hallowe'en cookie cutters. Some of the children chose to work on their Fall Wicker decoration that has been ongoing this week.

SK Leader-of-the-day prints the short form for the month word on the board!
