Welcome to the last week of October!
Can you believe it? Today was our 32nd school day!

The day began quietly in the gym with O'Canada and a moment of silent reflection.
Brooke was our leader for Calendar. Our new math unit is called Data Management and we had an introduction to bar graphs today. Our carpet is perfect for graphing!
We graphed shoes with straps and shoes without straps
We graphed the colours of socks worn to school today.... white, gray and blue!

SHARING TODAY FOR GRACE AND AIDEN

In Language Arts we learned the colour word "orange" and played a game with the new words for this week's Word Rings. The class beat me again ... 15-13!

This afternoon, some children had the chance to paint with yellow and red. (the rest will get their turns tomorrow)

In the Gym we played "Not in My Backyard" Each team had to throw soft balls (today they were called "rotten pumpkins!") out of their own yard and into the neighbour's yard. The 2 teams were tied for points at the end of gym time. We will continue this another day as the younger students are starting to get it!
It was Aiden's reading day today!

The day ended with Madame V. and her Hallowe'en puppets!
Have a great evening!
