A Windy Wednesday!
The morning began with O'Canada, a moment of quiet reflection, and a few "Knock, Knock" jokes! Jennifer, from the Terry Fox Foundation spoke to us and made us feel so great about what we, as a school, have contributed towards cancer research and treatments.
Brooke was our leader today and did a great job at calendar time! During the Math period we made interlocking cube patterns and then coloured accompanying strips of cubes on paper.
In Language Arts, the SK's did a "Write the Room" activity to practice letter formation and the JK's did a "Read, Stamp and Print" activity as they work on recognizing the look of the letters we have learned so far.
After lunch, during centres, students had the opportunity to make Necklaces with noodles and letter N,n's!!
Several students in Grade 3/4 taught us some new games at Gym time. This is part of an assignment they are completing. It was great fun for everyone involved!
The day concluded with French and Mdme V.!
Have a great evening!
Go Jays Go !
