Wednesday

Following the opening exercises in the gym we did calendar. The Gr. 7/8 class joined us momentarily and were very impressed with the children's knowledge of all of the concepts :)

For language we had sound pail for the "ch" sound and completed a task not finished yesterday. We had time to play a word slap game using some of our sight words. 

In Math we did a classroom search for specific 3-D shapes and then the children were instructed to make a structure using the blocks. The rules were: they must choose a "boss" who was to direct without being "bossy"; each student's addition to the structure had to connect to another student's building area! They seemed to really enjoy this!

We read "April Rabbits" , learned some spring songs and had gym time with Ms. Egan.
