Opening and House Point Collection in the Gym!

Our leader today was Ethan. We practised for the Dufferin Youth Festival of the Arts. Please watch for a permission form soon! (Only JK and SK attending)

In Language Arts we learned the sound of “ch”. This sound is called a digraph as the 2 letters involved make a brand new sound, not at all like their separate sounds! JK/SK students did a skill-sheet for the “ch” sound.

At snack time, Victor treated each of the students to Kinder- Eggs as this was his last day for this school year. L

In Math we completed several unfinished tasks and the children then built designs with the geometric tiles.

After lunch I read them a story called “Matthew and the Midnight Firefighter” and we made cut and paste fire trucks!

We enjoyed several beautiful recesses today and it was great to see the children running and laughing and playing so well together!
