Welcome to a blustery and cold Friday!
The morning
began as usual with O’ Canada and House Points collection in the Gym. Just so
you know, our class generally stops in the hall every morning on our way to our
class just to straighten up all the boots and put them all into pairs!
Katie was our
proficient leader today for calendar and a few other things she was able to
assist with! Once the Pre-K students left, the SK group had spelling dictation!
Well done! The JK’s did an alphabet printing activity. We need to continue to
work on that! The SK’s also wrote about things they like to do in the snow.
In Math we learned
to read and print digital time to the hour and to match digital time to analog clock time to the hour.
Please check out
Mdme. V.’s blog on the school website if you are wondering what our class is
learning in French!
Our story today
was called Snowmen at Night.
After identifying all of the things the snowmen in our story did during the
night, we made “snowmen at night” pictures ourselves! They turned out great!
Just a quick view of our Olaf project!
This snowman is ready to play snowman baseball!
This snowman has a huge pile of snowballs ready for the snowball fight!
The JK and SK
groups were assigned their “speeches” today. Thank you in advance for assisting
your child with the memorization. We will work on presentation (voice
projection, enunciation, etc,) in class over the next 2-3 weeks.
Wishing
you a great weekend!
