Hello Monday!

Our day began in the gym! Hollie, our leader, gave us a workout to “wear off some energy!” The students did their morning jobs, including gluing today’s message in to the agenda and doing some “Bell Work.” The JK’s did a simple word search, perhaps a first for many of them and they did an awesome job! Following calendar and weekend news we started on a new graphing activity: The Frog House.  I am amazed at how quickly they have caught on to plotting information!

In Language Arts we learned the sound of “z.” We worked on a skill-sheet together to find some words that start with “z” and did some colouring activities.

                                                            

                         Mad Math Minutes! (3 minutes to write as many numbers as possible)

Skipping rope skills continued in Gym today! What a great job they are doing with this skill as well! No more tears and lots more “Look at me, look at me!”

Our day concluded with French.
