Happy Birthday, Dr.
Seuss!
Our day
began in the gym with O’ Canada and a quick “full-muscle” warm-up! Students completed
their morning jobs and began some “Bell Work.” Today’s task was to “rainbow write” the word you or to mount it on coloured paper and add facial
features!
We sang
Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss (he would have been 113 years old today!) He died
in Sept. 1991.
At Math
time we completed the Frog Pond
graphing booklet. Many of the children were able to proceed independently with today’s
page. YEAH!
During gym time today the
children participated whole-heartedly with “Scarf-dancing!” I asked them to
listen to the music and move their arms and scarves to the music. Later I asked
them to move their feet as well. What a great job they didJ
The day concluded with French!
A little yo-yo practice at free choice time! |
Below are some pictures from yesterday! We totally enjoyed having the playground to ourselves!!!!
Enjoy your evening!
