Valentine Spirit Day (part 2!)
Santino was our leader today and did a great job with his morning responsibilities! At language time, the JK's worked on a mini book of "long i" words. The SK's read "long i" words and matched them to pictures. Great job everyone. I am seeing some really good skills developing now! :)
At Math time all of the students did subtraction work, at several different levels. They are really enjoying this "hard" work and feeling so-o-o proud!
This afternoon we made our 100th day crowns so that they are ready to wear all day tomorrow! Some students also coloured posters to decorate the room with.
Later in the afternoon, Ms. Ashley did a fun art activity with each student. They made circular prints (to represent a planet) from shaving cream and paint. You will soon see these exhibited in the hallway above the shelves by our classroom! They turned out beautifully!
I hope you are having a great evening:)
Mine is passing way too quickly!
