It was a cool but sunny Monday!

Calendar with our leader, Brooke!

In Language Arts the children learned the sound of "or" and did an "Or Fort." Sound Pail tomorrow for things containing the "or" sound.
In Math we started The Frog Pond graphing activity! The children are enjoying this "grown up " Math!
For our UOI today we learned some facts about Venus and reviewed what we have learned about our Solar System so far!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
