Tuesday ~ What a day!!

MATH TIME: Because we had almost half of the class absent today, it was the perfect chance to start building our structures! The most common shape used was a rectangular prism!

GYM TIME: We practiced some ball skills and running skills today. Some of the children were quite disturbed that we didn't have enough students to play some of their favourite games!

Getting ready for the puppet show! It took an awfully long time to get everything organized for the 20 second show!

A puppet show ???? Well, a song and a dance anyway!

The day concluded with French!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
