Happy November!

I have included pictures from yesterday as our internet was down last night after school and I couldn’t even send off an e-mail to you!!

We had a long assembly this morning for the start of a new month! Mr. Hunt had his beard coloured green, blue and orange ... students applied hair chalk as a reward for raising more than the school goal for the terry Fox Foundation! Students will be working on being confident and being thinkers in the month of November.

In Language we learned the sound of “c”, “k” and “ck”. Sound Pail tomorrow!

We played Duck, Duck, Goose in the gym today.

The children have started to learn vocabulary for family members in their French class!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
