A Real Fall Day!

Our day began with an assembly in which we recognized students who demonstrated Inquiry and Curiosity and those who had perfect attendance for the month of September.

Mr. Playford presented our new topics for the month of October ... Independence and Knowledgeable. Mr. Hunt led us in an exciting House Game!

The Grade Ones joined us for snack, calendar (good job, Kole!) and Show and Share. (Mrs. Ruby was absent.) They also helped us “brainstorm” for our new sound (“t”) and then each grade had specific related tasks to complete.

Following lunch recess we talked about the very first Thanksgiving when the “Pilgrims” came to the New World around 1621. We also talked about many things that we are thankful for and read the book Thanks for Thanksgiving.

The Grade 1/2 class joined us again for some Free Choice Time at the end of the day. It was a noisy place but everyone got along well and seemed to enjoy their time together!

Have a lovely evening!
