What An Attraction!

MAGNETISM: This was(is)our Science Day theme! We had a great afternoon experimenting with magnets and learning some "key words" that we should use when talking about magnets. We will do more tomorrow as we ran out of time for all of the activities I had planned! Thank you to Shylah's Dad for joining us!

At the end of the day I found a large box in the hall! Taking a huge risk, I brought it into the classroom saying"If we have tears, the box disappears!" They did a great job of sharing turns to get inside it and decorating it with markers!

Have a great evening!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
