Opening Exercises as Usual

MATH: Adding coins together (a really difficult job!)

LANGUAGE ARTS: Searching for the word "the". Don't pick it up if it says "hte" or "teh" :) 

 

We attended the Grades 5&6 and 7&8 Science Day at 1 p.m. The older students did an amazing job explaining their projects to our class!

 The 5/6 class made cars and boats using batteries and an electrical kit! ( above) Wow!

The 7/8 class each had individual projects.

 A composting project!

 All about light pollution and seeing the stars!

 A homemade magnetic generator ~ crank to make the light come on!

 The effects of Coca-Cola and do their effects change when the cola is different temperatures?

Our day ended with French!
