Spelling Bee Monday!

It was good to be back today! My workshop on Friday went well and has given me some new ideas and food for thought for the future!

Samuel was our leader today and did a good job with all of his tasks. We had Sharing and weekend news following a "longer-than-usual" Opening assembly. We had to eat snack early and have morning recess early in order to start the Spelling Bee as soon as the St. Jude's students arrived. The Maples Academy students did well. I'm sure Mr. P. will be emailing results home soon! The JK and SK students look so little sitting in the big chairs at the front of the Gym!

Some of the St. Jude's students came back to our room with us while the Spelling Bee concluded with the older students, so I let them have some socializing and free time! Before we knew it, it was lunch time.

This afternoon we had some testing (with Mrs. W.) extra recess and French.

Enjoy a great evening!
