Thursday in Kindergarten

Our day began in the gym. The Gr. 7/8 class led us in their version of “If you’re Happy and you know it!”

Samuel took us through the calendar routine.

For Math we learned that sometimes you can measure with non-standard units. Today we measured scissors, pencils and lines with cubes!

In Language Arts the children wrote about how they make their Mom smile while I helped them finish off a “secret!”

We had 3 presentations in UOI after the lunch recess and some free choice time near the end of the day.

A transforming car / boat powered by the sun!

 A space shuttle that flies with rocket fuel but in the driveway it really flew up into the air with a combination of baking soda and vinegar!

A tow truck that has axles and wheels that really turn and pulls cars out of deep places!
