Happy Friday!

We seemed to be very busy today - a library book exchange, an extended Gym outside, Spelling dictation, working in Following Directions books, having the last 2 transportation projects presented and the finalizing of our "secret project!" The day just flew by.

Here are a few pictures:

A car complete with a driver and a seatbelt!

An airplane on a stand - made with some help from 2 big brothers!

Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
