A Very Windy Monday! 

Our Assembly in the gym this morning was filled with excitement as Mr. P. announced all of the things that are going on in this pre-March Break week! All Grades but the Kindergarten class are going to St. Jude's to participate in public speaking and to be audience to a Shakespeare play the SJA students have prepared. We will remain behind and meet up with the Maples Pre-Schoolers a few times throughout the day. We will visit their room and let them show us around. The JK - age students will come to our room for a brief visit as an introduction to Kindergarten. Wednesday is Pyjama day; Friday is a St. Patrick's Day Spirit Day! So much fun to look forward to.   ;)

Karmin was our capable leader today. We had weekend news but it seems everyone is most excited about upcoming holidays!

We had a lesson in addition. Each group was given appropriate skill-sheets to work on.

I read the book called Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen.  In Language Arts today, the SK's completed their end of term writing assignment (OWA). The JK's had some language activities to choose from. And I was able to complete some more "testing" in preparation for report card writing!

Following lunch, Aiden and Grace had their reading times with me. In the Gym we had our first skipping rope lesson! Mme. V. had the students for the last hour of the day.
