As usual, we met in the Gym for Opening exercises and announcements. Aiden was our capable leader at calendar time! In Math, we reviewed time to the half hour. JK students practiced printing "6" and SK students did a skill-sheet for time to the half hour. We are working on preparing all of the parts for our Grandfather clocks whenever we have a chance. 

I read a story (brought in by Reed) called The Boy Who Lost His Name! It was a great story! We practiced speeches and we learned the sound of "long i". Sound Pail tomorrow:) for this sound. 

We finished our ANIMAL KINGDOM posters today and the children seem to have a solid grasp of the classification of groups of creatures we share the planet with. I LOVED watching them work as "teams of 2". For the most part, we saw excellent collaboration and sharing of tasks.
