Wednesday's News!

 

We started our day in the Gym as usual! Reed was our leader and led us through the calendar routines. We practised counting by tens and ones to 100. At Math time we learned a few "tricks" for printing the numbers correctly on the face of an analog clock! This is a difficult task, even for the SK's!

 

Following the first recess, I read the story called "The Wild Tobaggan Ride." We did SOUND PAIL for the "long a" sound and had a printing lesson on the letter "h."

 

Since today was a French day, the children had a free choice time after the lunch recess and then Gym time- we learned another tag game. The day ended with French. The children asked why French was so short today (which it wasn't) and we explained that they were having too much fun wih Mdme. to notice the time going by!
