International Mindedness Wednesday!

We started our day as usual in the gym. Charlotte was our leader and did a good job with calendar routines. The students are getting very good at answering my questions. We'll soon have to move on to something trickier!

We had Sharing early today so that we could create our Dream catchers for our presentation in the gym today. I read the children a story about how Dream Catchers came to be (a legend). It took us most of the morning to get them made but they turned out so well and the students loved the activity!

This afternoon all students gathered in the gym. The Kindergarten class went first and did an excellent job of presenting their Native symbols to the group. Following the last recess, Mdme. V. took all of the K's and Gr. 1/2 for a combined French lesson.

 I am down to my last sleep in our current house. It is a bitter-sweet time... we made many wonderful memories there. Hopefully many new memory-making events ahead in our new home!
