Our day began in the gym as usual. Reed was our leader and did an awesome job with calendar! Samuel arrived from an appointment just in time for his "Show and Share!"

We incorporated the Casual day colour song into our Math lesson today! I kept track of all of the children wearing specific colours. We chose 6 colours and built a graph using coloured paper! All of the students have a very strong grasp of bar graphs so far!

During Language Arts,I read the book called "A Fierce, Yellow Pumpkin"  We did SOUND PAIL for things starting with the sound of h-h-h. We brainstormed for a short list of "H,h words" and then the children completed a Haunted House activity. We did our Library Book exchange before lunch as well.

During free choice / centres time, the children got involved with K'nex and built contraptions with wheels!

I put on the new Hallowe'en song we've been learning which they LOVE and we ended up with a spontaneous dance session!!

We played "Not in My Backyard" at gym time again. The day concluded with French today.
