Happy Friday!

Just letting you know that we had another great day! The children are starting to understand some of the basic routines and expectations in the classroom.

The SK group did some number work with 1-20 in Math today. The JK group did a cut and paste sorting task.

We completed the "Meet Me" project we have been working on all week!

At Gym time we worked on ball bouncing skills ... something new for the younger ones and extra paractice for the SK's. Houyse Games at the end of the day were a great way to finish the first week of school!

Have an awesome weekend!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
