The last Monday of this school year!

During Op. Ex. we presented June’s Principal’s Choice. Our class recipient is Kate D. for demonstrating Appreciation and for being Reflective.

We started working on a Me and My Dad book today and had some addition review at Math time!

I am including lots of pictures today for you to enjoy.

Pre-K's sorting and matching numbers to quantities

Karmin and Samuel (JK) matching numbers and train cars to 20

This is the SK Number "store!" They were finding groups of 5 numbers and putting them in order to 180! Their line went almost half way around the outside of the gym.

Just one pic from Pirate Play Day .. I didn't have time to take many pictures!!

Teddy Bear Picnic in the classroom!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
