Ice Cream Thursday!

Opening Ex. in the gym as usual. Samuel was our leader today. He chose 4 helpers to put on the weekend numbers so that we are ready for Tuesday!

For language Arts we had Spelling Dictation for both groups. Sk students also were presented with their first Word Shape task. JK students read short sentences and filled in the missing word which was represented by a picture.

In Math we made interlocking cube towers using 4-8 blocks. Students then had to find 3 objects in the room ... 1 shorter than, 1 longer than, and 1 the same length as their tower.

The Ice Cream truck arrived at 12:15, sending the entire school into a frenzy!! It seems that no one has ever seen an ice cream truck before :)       :)       :)       :)     :)       :)      :)        :)       :)         :)          :)          :)

We spent some of the afternoon finishing up some tasks , cleaning up the room and having some running practice outside!
