Thursday!

The day began, as usual, in the gym with O Canada and the collection of House Points. We had calendar in the classroom with Karmin, our leader. The ambulance and paramedic, Alyssa, arrived and the Grade 1 & 2 class joined us.

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
