Welcome Friday!

Opening Ex. in the gym / collection of House Points!

Ethan was our leader today and did a good job with the calendar routine.

The SK’s had their spelling dictation “test” and the JK’s completed another letter matching activity.

We started to work on our lanterns to bring a conclusion to the celebration of Chinese New Year. We will keep them in the classroom for all of next week to remind us of all the things we have learned this week!

In French class, the children are learning how to say the colour words

We had a great time at skating ... with Grades 4-8 joining us.

Ms. Armitage provided us with our names in Chinese to investigate!

Our lanterns will help us to welcome in the new lunar year!

Have an awesome weekend!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
