Thursday!

Samuel was today’s leader and led us through the calendar. The Pre-K’s left us and the JK/SK’s did a penguin dance to “loosen up” for language time! We learned a new sound today .. the sound of “w”. Sound Pail tomorrow for things that start with the sound of “w”.

In Math we continued with some addition work that we started yesterday. Then we had time to watch a couple of short you-tube videos about penguin behaviour.

After lunch, Miss Egan read a book called  Where is Home, Little Pip? We did a black and white art activity – which was challenging but pretty cool!

We were able to get outside for a bit today. The sun was wonderful and everyone seemed to enjoy the fresh air.  During mini centre time we watched a short portion of Happy Feet.

Tomorrow is the “real” Casual Day

These children are really daddy penguins looking after their eggs!

The Pre-K's talked about friendship yesterday and Mrs. Wilks made the pink T-shirts to recognize that yesterday was anti-bullying day!
