It 100’s day!

Grace led us through the calendar routines. We counted to 100 by 5’s, 10’s and 1’s!

The JK’s and SK’s made a special snack with 100 things! (10 of 10 different things) and made one for each of the Pre-K’s too J. We ate them at snack time, of course!

 Later we tried to create things from a 1 and 2 zeros. This was a tricky task!

In the afternoon the students had to find 100 heart stickers with the numbers 1-100 and had to plot them in the right places on a grid. This took much longer than expected and we’re still missing a few numbers! When and where will they show up?? I read a story called The 100^th School Day.

Now that we have reached the 100^th day we will work with it (number 100) frequently, until year end!

Tomorrow is a Valentine Spirit Day ... dress in Valentine colours!(Yes, we will wear red and white to the Theatre!)
