Wednesday’s Message!

Opening in the gym / House Points collection

This morning we found all of the magnets from the GB Man on the floor and another message! 

Some of the SK children are getting really good at reading the messages totally on their own. This morning he couldn’t be found right away so we had to work quietly in case he moved at all. Katie finally spied him at 10:45, peeking out from behind the book shelf.

Pre-K’s matched some upper and lower case letters today. Some JK/SK's continued to work on their GB Man clothing booklet. Others did a writing activity about how to make a cookie!

Instead of Math today we did some lacing around some Christmas cards to take home as a decoration. French followed.

At lunch time, Kate shared her birthday cupcakes with us. Thank you, Kate! They were yummy!

Right after the long recess we had sharing and then I read a story called “Wake Up, Santa!” We went to the gym for a game of dot tag! I kept the children in for the 2 p.m. recess as their outer clothes were pretty wet from the 

                                                            previous recess. 

Soon after that we had a special visitor. Santa came to the school today and met with each class in the Library! All of our class was very excited and willingly went to him to sit on his knee and tell him they have been good.

It was hard to calm them down after that but we did get clean up done and dismissed just in the nick-of-time!
