Hello to all readers of the Kindergarten blog!

The gym is currently full of chairs, band equipment, etc. And so we had     O’ Canada and announcements over the speakers this morning and we remained in our classroom. Students still received House Points for being ready to begin their day!

Calendar was led by Samuel and we added day # 66. We took time to practise our song for the concert.  The  JK’s and SK’s did a search for ornaments  on a scrambled page while I finished up some concert prep.  At the same time we made a HUGE “word web” of Christmas words!

Mdme V. came to the room for a French song practice as well, following the morning recess. The JK’s and SK’s worked on adding nickels and pennies for their Math lesson today.... really tricky for us to learn to count by 5’s first and then add on the 1’s! But we will keep tryingJ

We had an early lunch and shorter than usual recess time, then inside for the Grandparents’ concert. It went really well and everyone in our class was

GREAT!!

Sharing,  recess,  free time,  clean up and home   ...   all went smoothly!

Just a reminder that the concert is tomorrow night at 7 p.m. Students should meet me in the classroom between 6:30 and 6:45! They may wear dressy clothes!
