We started the day with O’ Canada and House Points in the Gym.

We started to learn a new Good Morning song today and had weekend news!  Grace did a great job of taking us through calendar. We can’t believe how fast October is going by!

The SK’s and JK’s learned the colour word “black”. SK’s did their skill-sheet for the colour book. Both groups wrote in their journals today, with Pumpkins as the main idea.

The story for the day was “The Pumpkin Blanket” .. a story about giving up something you treasure, for the sake of others (in this case, for the pumpkins)

French with Mdme. V. and then a review of growing pumpkins through a book with "real" photos..

Ms. L. helped us to make pattern necklaces for Math and also taught us to play musical pumpkins in the gym.

Samuel, Seth and Gunner all brought their Show and share today.

Centres included adding to fall wreaths (started last week), finishing a painting activity from last week and playing with play dough.

Home time came all too soon today!!
