It was a hectic day as the first day always is .. getting some routines in place and helping new, little students with everything that needs to be done! But we made it!
9:15 - To the gym for an assembly where we talked about playground rules, House teams, and question words that help to demonstrate curiosity (who? why? where? when? what? how?)
10:00 - Snack time!
10:30 - Recess
10:45 - FRENCH .. Mdme. has her own classroom this year!
11:15 - UOI (Unit Of Inquiry) .. we identified our 5 senses and what each one does
11:50 - Lunch and recess
1:00 - Calendar with Sarah, Days of the week game
1:30 - Gym time .. listening for the whistle ... FREEZE!
2:00 - Recess
2:15 - Free Choice play ... scented playdough was very popular!
3:00 - Clean up / Pack up
3:25 - Dismissal
