A Very Wet Thursday!

This was Santino's Show and Share yesterday~ very tiny tadpoles from his pond! So-o-o- exciting to see

Today's leader doing his usual excellent job of calendar. He had no difficulty telling me it was the 154th school day!

We had Sound Pail for "long u" today. We only have 3 sounds left to learn and just one more opportunity for Sound Pail!!
We also practiced oral spelling in preparation for Monday's class Spelling Bee!
At Math time, we reviewed time to the hour and half hour and the children did a "test" on placing hands on the clock to match the digital time below. Well done!!
Next week we will start to learn to identify and count Canadian coins!
The class had Gym time with Ms. Cranfield and we had the awards ceremony for the Track and Field meet last Tuesday.
May's birthdays were celebrated and Mrs. Gabor took the class for "French" as Mme. V. was at a workshop all day.
