A Great Day!

We had the usual start in the gym and then calendar with our leader, Reed!

We learned our second last sound today! .... er/ur/ir all make the same sound! Sound Pail tomorrow for things containing this sound!

 
 

Show and Share time ~ everyone's favourite time of the day! I read the class the book that Nathan brought in ~ AWESOME is EVERYWHERE! What a great book!

Finishing up our Spring Concert decorations!

In Math today we had our final lesson and assessment for telling time to the hour and half hour! Still very tricky for some but a good introduction for the future!

In today's UOI, I read a story called When Sophie Gets Angry ~ Really, Really Angry . We talked about things we can do to calm ourselves and that it's okay to feel angry; it's how we act when we're feeling angry that is most important. The children drew pictures of things that make them feel angry.
