Our story today was Curious George Goes to the Hospital

This morning we learned the sound of "y" as a consonant.

JK and SK students did appropriate activities.

In Art the children learned how to make their paper egg look like a 3-D egg! Well done everyone! (I missed getting pictures)

I read another book called "What Will I Be?" during UOI and discussions were generated about the many options your children will have by the time they're ready to make that decision.

Reading went well for this guy today!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
