Happy EARLY St. Patrick's Day!
|
Our leader did a great job with calendar today! Before the first recess we did a "Following Directions" activity. (You will see the results tomorrow!) |
|
Several of the Kindergarten students asked for a garbage bag to collect all the "stuff" that had blown against the fences! Some of the Grade Ones joined in. At the end of recess I grabbed a quick picture but some of the great helpers had already gone inside. Thanks everyone! |

Following the morning recess, the two SK's who were here today had a visit with the current Grade One students in Mrs. Ruby's room! They were very excited and enjoyed making their leprechaun craft, as well as having some gym time! |
At the same time we had visitors from the Pre-K class who will be eligible for JK in September. We talked about leprechauns as well and played a shamrock game and sang a leprechaun song.
This afternoon we created another kind of leprechaun using a fork and orange paint to apply the beard and hair to our funny guy! Once the paint was dry we added a hat with a golden buckle!

Ms. Ashley taught some of the children to play "Go Fish" with the special deck of cards that Kole brought in for Show and Share. They loved it and did really well matching their cards! They were a busy, excited group today but everyone had a great day!
Enjoy your evening! |
