It's Friday!

As usual, we began our day in the Gym with O’Canada. There were a lot of nice red shirts today. Go TFC!  Our leader, Nathan, gave us a running and hopping workout and then we went to the coatroom to collect our things!

Following calendar and concert prep the children learned about a sphere! They are learning the difference between

2-D and 3-D objects.  Following their skill-sheet task, they made circle designs and/or built with the large geometric solids.

                             

                                                                              

                                    

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

In Language Arts we learned the colour word “brown.”

We had Gym time following the long recess and worked with our new small sized parachute. At free choice time , many students wanted to work further with circle designs and I was “hired” to cut circles as fast as I could!

Our day ended with French today. 

Nathan is practicing for his French leader time by counting the numbers in French! (at free choice time)
