Welcome to the last week in November!

Our leader-to-be was sick today so we moved down the list to Leon! However, we had to do calendar for him so everyone shared the job!

Since we have to do a mini presentation about Nunavut tomorrow morning we got started right away with colouring in the territory on a Canada map! The children should know now that it is a part of Canada, it is near the North Pole and it is very cold there in the winter time.

After morning recess, we talked about what animals live in Nunavut and how they have adapted to living there `- like having very thick fur or a layer of blubber or being white so they blend in with the snow.

This afternoon we started adding some facts that we have learned about Nunavut. We will review them in the morning before our presentation!
A short "free choice" time followed!

Have a wonderful evening!
