Another Busy Day!

Mr. P. asked for all students who have a pet that uses a leash, to come forward to lead us in O' Canada! You can see that some of the Kinders took this job very seriously!!

 In language Arts we learned the sound of "short e." We worked together as a class to complete a skill-sheet to find the bugs that Terry Turtle would eat! (FYI: This is one of the hardest sounds because it is not really distinct and in some words sounds more like "short a or i")

 Show and Share time! Everyone's favourite time of the day! (Except for recess, of course! )

At Math time today we learned about Gus, the Plus! Students spent time creating their own character! We'll put him to use tomorrow as we continue with addition!

This afternoon was spent in completing some unfinished work, reading for Tuesday's readers and some assessment time with me.
(Report card writing time is upon us!)
