Welcome to Wednesday!

Our day began as usual, in the Gym, for Opening Exercises. Our leader, Elizabeth, gave us a quick “workout!” ~ then off to the lobby to collect everything we need for the day!

Following calendar we worked on a rhyming activity left from yesterday.  (A CAT ... mini book). At Math time the SK’s worked on creating a Fall Leaf pattern in wreath form while the JK’s created patterns using the interlocking cubes. 

A. brought a French picture book about colours!

S. brought in a live praying mantis and a cocoon from one!

L. brought in a very colourful ball!

JK students had to copy their colour pattern onto a drawing of blank blocks!

SK leaf wreaths. Soon we will add another pattern on top of the leaves!

At the same time we were able to get the apples cut up for applesauce. We had time to cook the apples but will strain it tomorrow to make it into applesauce!

                                                

At Gym time we tried to balance our whole bodies while moving upper limbs. We also practiced footwork skills and had a short game of Fruit Basket!

The day concluded with French with Mme. V.
