A Yucky Thursday
After the morning assembly and the completion of morning jobs, the students took turns doing calendar, as our leader for the day had not arrived yet.
It was a morning for catching up on unfinished work so Ms. Whitehead took the children in small groups to make pumpkin play dough! When work was completed the children got to play with their cinnamon-scented play dough.
Kole showed us his coin collection today as his Show and Share. Everyone was very excited to see some OLD money!
At Language time we made mini books about "short i" words. SK's printed rhyming words to match the words on the pages. JK's circled and printed "i".
Because it was a rainy day and the children had indoor recess all day, (and were very "wound up"), we did a Hallowe'e'n craft and listened to a story on tape. (an old cassette actually!) called The Old Woman Who Lived in a Vinegar Bottle. We went to the Gym and played Ghosts and Goblins. The day ended with French.
Have good evening!
