This little bunny was the star of the day .. a wild rabbit baby rescued by the family!

At Math time today the JK's worked with filling in the numbers to 20 and the SK's added coins together. This was a really hard task for a few.

At Language Arts time students worked with mixed up sentences and had to put them in order. It was another opportunity to remind them that sentences start with an upper case letter and end with a period (in this case).

This was an early recess time which ended in one of
these girls landing on her chin :(

The class was given some additional free time today instead of having French. (let's just call it a gift of kindness for Mme. V.)

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
