A BUSY, BUSY DAY!!!

I was absent this morning but was able to take some pictures this afternoon of our class doing the long jump! Check out Mr. Hunt's blog (Gr. 5/6) as he said he was posting a video of the Kinders running! Ms. Perry was the teacher this morning!

Practicing running on the track yesterday!

We started working with money at Math time today ~ this afternoon actually, which is not our usual schedule! We looked over the penny and counted by 1's. Moving on to nickels tomorrow ~ much more difficult!

Enjoy your evening!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
